Mozilla
You sign up to Thawte and request certificates in the same way as you would if using Safari. The difference is that while Safari is downloading your certificates into the Keychain directly, Mozilla stores them in it's own Certificate Manager.
We need to move the certificate from the Mozilla Certificate Manager over to the Mac OS X Keychain. You can find the Mozilla Certificate Manager hidden in it's preference panel:

Select the certificate and hit the "backup" button. Give the certificate a name, and save it somewhere you can find it - the Desktop is probably a good place. When exporting the certificate, Mozilla will protect the certificate file it creates with a password. This password doesn't need to be very secure, since this file should be deleted after the certificate has been imported into the Keychain. Use a simple password that you can remember for at least a minute or so.
Double-clicking on the certificate file that was exported from Mozilla will launch the Keychain Access application to import the certificate into the Keychain. After you hit the OK button you will be prompted to enter the password for the certificate file - i.e. the same password that you entered when exporting the file from Mozilla. When the certificate has been imported you can throw away the certificate file and forget the password.
Note: You can transfer multiple certificates at the same time between Mozilla and the Keychain - just select all certificates you want to export from the Certificate Manager in Mozilla.
If you receive an error message about duplicate certificates from the Keychain when importing your additional certificates, make sure that you haven't already imported these certificates, and that you have in fact requested the certificate for the correct email address.
If you need to use your certificate on an additional machine, you can at any time export a copy from Mozilla and transfer the exported file to that machine.
